If anyone looking for Advanced Energy MM5000 inverter software

I was on another board that does not work & was 10 year old post.
Someone was looking for it, not much on the web about this inverter.
Other than they got bought out.
I have the Beacon Power & the Advanced Energy MMC102M dos software (only for windows 98) that lets you change any setting you want.
works with MM3000 MM5000 M4 M5.
My MM5000 has been running for 10 year now with no problem, lowered the fan start temp to keep it from
overheating that was common in these, would like to get the Cd software advanced energy pc-200 software for this inverter.dos 001.JPG

I saw your post indicating that you had the software for the Beacon Power inverter.
I am trying to help someone with an M5 and we don't have the software or any manual with the fault codes.

Hi,
This posting came up when I did a google search for AE MM5000. I recently acquired a functional used one, well mostly. The solar installer that had it used tested it and everything apparently works except the grid tie portion which he told me was fine because everything else works, and I wasn't going to use it for grid tie. I am trying to find info on this inverter (owners/users manual) etc. so I know how to hook it up, and get it functioning. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Someone from Beacon Power actually got back to me this morning with the PDF of the MM5000 manual, so you don't need to scan yours. Thanks though!
I would still like to hear though of your experience with the MM5000 (or anyone else) You said you lowered the fan start up temp setting to keep it from overheating and had yours running for 10years. I will do some reading in the manual, but I assume that is something that can only be done with the software you refer to?

Did the scanning before reading your post, did you get the MM5000 or the Beacon manual the original AE has what the blinks mean also other stuff. Hhere is the code list, 0x00 codes longer list than Beacon gives you. Set points that have * is new value old is after.

Is it the MM5000 manual or Beacon, did it before I read your post, here are 3 pages that they left out if the Beacon manuals.

With the dos software Right when you start the program you are in factory mode so you can change anything for about 2 minutes.
Example on the command line you type in P 0x12 590 ENTER for charge voltage = 59.0v. The IMG is of the software script i used notepad to see contents helped me get single letter codes codes.

Have not had much chance to look it over. The manual the sent is dated Sept 9 2002
So what you sent me I would need to hook the inverter up to a computer and have the proper software in order to change any values correct?
Sorry don't know much about programing computer stuff.

Mine is March 25 2002 should be close to the same. I knew nothing about Dos but figured it out on my own lol

Yours actually says version 2.2. The one Beacon sent me says version 2.3c, so they must be different. Are you still using this inverter in your system, or have you done something else?

My mm5000 will not grid tie only stand alone looking for a used one M5 M4 mm5000 or mm3000, watching ebay if one shows up there.
