Technical Questions about Home Made Solar Panels

I have a couple of questions about making a home made solar panel. I have an instructional video on it but it has cells that are pre tabbed. I have several broken cells without tabs on the front of them. How do you add tabs to the front of the cells? Also, can you use different voltage and amperage cells? And can you mix types of cells? From what I understand there are basically three different types of cells. I didn't know if you could mix them all up. If someone could answer some or all of these questions I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you, Joshua.

I have done an experiment to see the small performance at low power photo-voltaic solar cells which you can make at your own with hardware materials. This cell are made of cuprous oxide and you can build a solar cell work in 2 hours to build a solar panel.

And you won't get even one watt out of a copper oxide panel, lucky to get a meter to even twitch from it.

You can parallel cells that vary in amps, and you can
series cells that are the same in amps.

Adding tabs to broken cells, not easy if there is no front surface metal left
