on the topic of ul listed devices, is renogy ul listed? i looked around a bit on the website but did not find a concrete answer. what are yalls opinion on the company as a whole?
No input for you on the company as a whole, except to note from other postings that there may be some problems with inadequate shipping boxes when ordering Renogy through Amazon rather than directly.SunnyBoy 3000 US, 18 BP Solar 175B panels.Comment

The specs I looked at said "Industry-leading Testing Approved (Under UL1730, IEC 61215, IEC 61730 Standards)"
The terminology is wrong - to be correct it needs to say UL listed really. UL compliant and such have no meaning.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment

Maybe their grid-tie modules are the models with UL rating.SunLight @ NightComment

I have not searched the renogy site itself, but the Amazon sale pages and most of the reviews I have come across state that the panels involved are UL listed. There would be little or no market for them in the US otherwise.

50W & 100W Panels previously ordered from Amazon had very adequate shipping boxes...
they all arrived un-scathed, after their long & bumpy ride to Hawaii.
It was a batch of 60W panels that Renogy cut-corners on when shipped to Amazon,
and Renogy expected Amazon to re-pack before shipment to customers... which Amazon did not.
My updated opinion on the company as a whole:
Their customer service dept needs fine-tuning...
but they do react when the wheel squeaks LOUD enough...
Aside from that, they do have the best $/watt I have found on battery panels.SunLight @ NightComment

The one panel (250 watt mono) they do list for grid tie or off grid use says UL listed - UL 1703 in the spec sheet[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment
