Hi all, I have been searching for solar solutions to my $1000 electric bill for a 1200sq ft home. I'm new to solar and wind systems and honestly don't know if I can do this on my own. Looking forward to any and all suggestions. Oh I am in southern Maryland by the way.

Well if you mean $1000/month start by burning your house down and move. No way a 1200/ft2 home can use that much electricity. And if you did no way you could afford solar, the system would cost more than your house is worth.MSEE, PEComment

Yeah like 9100 Kwh, that is about 10 to 12 times more than a average house that size uses. My home is more than twice that size and my peak usage is in summer here in TX and I rarely go over 1400 Kwh/month.MSEE, PEComment
