    Greetings and salutations

    Hi, folks,

I'm a newbie, just got a grid-tie solar system installed in New York City (Sungevity lease) and may post a few questions on the boards. Very excited to be generating some of my own power, though NYC building and fire codes limited the size of my array. It took over a year from signing the lease to having the system installed and up and running but I'm happy with how things went overall, and thrilled with the cost and ROI numbers. NYC has some of the highest energy costs of any major US city so it will be nice to see lower power usage (and lower bills!).

Looking forward to hanging out here from time to time.

    Thanks,

    -Chris

Be welcome, Chris! (Or as I often say, "Greetings and Hallucinations", a holdover from the 60's). We hope that you will learn a few things and share what you have found out.
