this seems the right place. I just had my first experience with Solarege ecosystem for a friend, and I would like to expand my knowledge on other brands.

Since you mention "other brands" the link below will introduce you to the Emphase PV system, which is based around the use of micro inverters. I don't work for Enphase or derive any benefit from mentioning them. I do own a Enphase system and have been very happy with the performance. As always, caveat emptor!

The property here in northern IL gets all electricity, heat,
and air conditioning from over a 100 panels with Net Metering
connection to the Power Co. Bruce Roe
