Welcome. I'm almost your neighbor but am a bit more inland in Poway. I also have a 4kW system which was installed in 2019. Just started my 5th year of production and have yet to pay SDG&E anything as my system covers all of my use with a bit left over each true up period

I grew up in Poway and retired from the City of Poway Public Works.

You get a lot more sun than we do over here west of the 5 freeway.
