Hello All,

Long time lurker who did a lot of reading here, thank you for all the good information. 9.6 kW system with a Powerwall+. Placed the order 1/1/22 to try to get in under NEM 2.0, installed 5/11/22, PTO 6/23/22 and generating credits.

I also recently purchased an EV a couple weeks before IRA, so happy about that. I do have a few questions I'll be posting about in the coming days.

Welcome. Good decision on going solar as SDGE has some of the highest, if not the highest, electric rates in the USA.

Indeed, moving from Irvine to Trabuco Canyon around 6 years ago was quite the shock going from SCE to SDG&E, not to mention the confusion I had with me being nowhere near San Diego.

If I remember correctly, it was something like an instant 23% increase with the same kWh usage, since I moved in January there was no AC involved.

Imagine my shock when summer hit with 2.5x the square footage...
