This is my first post. I am in the process of getting an SE3800-h inverter installed. It comes with an EV charger and charging cable. The in wall connector holder that I see on the internet looks different than the one that was installed. As best I can tell there looks like there are two versions and I got the older version. My installer says that the new one will not be available until sometime in Q2. I think the old part number is SE-EV-kit 25J40-1 and the new one is either SE-EV-Kit-25J40-2 or SE-EV-Kit- LJ40P. Can anyone shed any light on this?

The only light I can shed is that in 8 years of charging EVs I have had experience with a number of in wall connector holders and none of them charge my car any differently. Some are better than others and sometimes I have made my own.
If you are concerned about the J1772 connector, no worries that is a standard that fits all EVs.Last edited by Ampster; 04-17-2020, 07:54 PM.9 kW solar, 42kWh LFP storage. EV owner since 2012
