    New member with RV solar

Hello. I just registered so I'm introducing myself. I'm in Helena, Montana and I researched and installed a solar charging system in our travel trailer camper. We strictly boondock camp and the solar is the best investment I've made to it. I have 2x140 watt 12V panels mounted fixed and flat on the roof, a Morningstar Tristar 45 PWM solar charge controller, and use 2 x 6V golf cart batteries for just over 200 Ah capacity. I have a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter installed so we can have AC power while camping. I've had this system for a few years now and I love tinkering with it. I installed it with expansion in mind, but I have discovered that we really don't need any more capacity.
I'm an RV camper with 470 watts of solar
