Sharp NU -180E1, looking into the possibilities of solar.

    Hello all,

I have just got a second hand Sharp NU -180EU solar panel ,180W

My plan is to run a small light and maybe a heater for an hour or so. When say heater I just mean something small.

Could you please advise what would be a good controller Compatible and a battery that would suffice.

I am new and I have had a little look around. Please go easy on me.

    Thank you

    OK.
When you say "maybe a heater ... something small", you need to recognize that if you have any other possible fuel for heating (propane, etc.) it will cost a lot less unless you have no other use for the solar energy and do not mind using up your battery life.
If you could make do with a 250 watt or smaller heat source, you might get the best comfort for your power by using an infrared heat lamp. No waste heat and the light it gives off will be a fringe benefit.
