About the only benefit of off grid power. Just realized the grid is down. I could hear an engine at the nearby farmhouse earlier and just realized that its a generator. I cant see the lights of any other houses that I normally can when its dark.

Ha ha, nothing, you just failed to comprehend my message.

I am off grid but can see houses in the distance that are on grid. It was not till after sunset I realized there were no lights on so the grid was down from the storm that passed.
