Solar pump stop working in afternoon.

Dear All.

First off all i am new to this forum.

i have install a 8.5 kw of solar pump solution but there is a complain that the pump stop working during afternoon & works fine in the morning & after 3:00 PM. Please guide what might be the issue.

You need to give more details of what model the pump is, but it sounds like the pump turns itself off when the sun is the strongest, so there may be a high voltage or high current shutoff in the pump. If the pump works fine when there is not as much power going to it, I think it needs a smaller solar array. Check the specs of the pump to see what voltage, current, or wattage range it specifies. My first thought is you have too many solar panels in series, causing too high of a voltage.
