Solar water pumping system for my dissertation

    Hi peeps

Quick introduction. I am a final year student doing electrical and electronic engineering at MMU. I study this part time as I work within the semiconductor industry. I have worked in the industry for 12 years now.
Through my studies I have developed a keen interest renewable energy. For my dissertation I have somehow got myself roped into modelling a pv system pumping system for a pond using pspice. Problem is that I am totally new to pspice and I have never attempted anything like this before. I am making tentative steps with pspice and have managed to model the irradiance of the sun.
I am now onto modelling my load which will be a dc motor with a centrifugal pump. The problem is that I am struggling to find a comprehensive data sheet for a pump or an equivalent circuit.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction or has anyone got any tips or advice they could offer?
