    Nothing to do with solar power

    Recently bought a step ladder on top step it says"DO NOT STEP ABOVE THIS STEP" Must have had a lot of injury claims from people doing that ??
    On a set of christmas lights I bought" FOR INDOOR OR OUTDOOR USE ONLY" People have been using them where previously"?

    Simple: You should never run them through a window so part of the string is indoors and part outdoors.
    More seriously, some of the "outdoor" lights are also for dry locations only.

      tis true. Been almost 10 years since I was in the biz but when I was manufacturing custom lighting I do remember there were dif specs for wet and dry locations in exterior lighting. Lighting under an overhang, ie porch roof, covered entry, was different than those exposed to rain on a post or side of column outside.
