New user with a solar off-grid question. I have limited solar experience so most of this is new to me.
I have a customer that wants to charge batteries on a scissor lift (4-T105 batteries in series, 24V) via solar. The problem is the customer uses the scissor lift during most of the day (when the sun shines). I'm trying to figure out if I can bank solar energy during the day in a large battery (forklift battery size that is 24, 36 or 48V) and then transfer that stored energy to the scissor lift at night (maybe through a charge controller). Pure craziness, I know...but, thats what I am thinking. Solar panels would charge the large battery during the day.
Any help is appreciated.
