Help needed choosing inverter for proposed system

I'm currently looking at a couple different inverters. I'm looking for split phase operation and have narrowed my current choices to either 2 SMA Sunny Island 6048 or 1 Growatt 12000T with 250V dual PV input. I am buying components for my near future build and have bought so far 12 Hanwha Q cells G6+ 350 watt panels and 6 EG4 100Ah batteries with TOP mounts. I'm interested in buying 6 more panels if possible. I'm in western Montana and we have little sunshine in the winter so I want to limit running my generator as much as possible.

I like the idea of the Sunny Islands but think it may be over complicating my install by having to have separate charge controllers and wiring up 2 inverters if I'm understanding correctly. It would be a bonus if I were not doing split phase. If one unit went down I'd still have some capability but since two unit are needed for split phase I would be sol anyway.

The Growatt seems very interesting as I could possibly use the integrated mppt and not have to buy additional controllers. Availability seems scarce as it appears to be a newer offering. Price is attractive.

    Am I missing something? My 12 (possible 18) current panels are rated VOC 40.73 V , VMPP 34.07 V , ISC 10.79 A , IMPP 10.27 A. Lowest temp around -10F

Between building a home and trying to figure out my solar power system my brain is at full capacity. Thank you for your input and knowledge.

The 2 SI's should share the same battery so no need to have separate charge controllers.
Could use one SI with their "smartformer" or find your own 6kW transformer to create the splitphase.
For a whole house, probably need 2 SI's but also need more batteries...

You dont think 30kwh of batteries is enough for 2 SI ? I sure like the ruggedness of these inverters. I'm a little confused on how to optimize the wiring configuration without having multiple charge controllers. Running these panels through some of the calculators seems to indicate I would need at least 2 midnite classics but maybe I am misinterpreting the calcs.

They are 48 volt batteries. My apologies.

Hard to beat the Sunny Island deals for the assembled power panels on Ebay currently. They are leftovers from DC Solar. I started out looking at one of them and then bought an entire trailer. Trying to duplicate the components would cost more than the entire package as its got a charge controller, combiner box and power distribution panel in a robust ventilated enclosure.

I am leaning towards SI. I've watched a several recent trailers go at auction for pretty high prices. The panels are worthless to me and the batteries can be a crapshoot based on their age and lack of regular maintenance and charge. I have found a seller on ebay that has several complete enclosures from dc solar trailers but they will not respond to any questions which is a bit annoying.

I agree with those vendors on Ebay, why waste their time listing them if they don't answer questions?. I must say the trailer I bought seems to be very well assembled even with sketch batteries the rest of the components are worth more than I paid for it. The electronics package looks like a modular design, lots of appropriate connectors for adding or subtracting components.
