Noob wants to build hybrid system

Hey guys,

So I need advice here...

See, I have a camper that I'm making all custom and im getting to the point where I need power added to it!
I plan on living in that thing.

My goal is to build a hybrid system, I've done some home work but need advice from people who know what the hell they're doing!
As of now I only have a 1800w gas powered Generator.

What I want would be something that would take solar, wind turbine, and my generator to charge up a battery bank of some sort...

I don't have my home work in front of me as I write this, but I've been thinking getting 4x 100w solar panels + 1x 400w wind turbine, connected to a mppt hybrid charge controler, maybe a dump load if needed, and approx 3000w inverter...

I'll be running on this a few appliances such as: laptop, 39" led tv, camper lights, fridge, water pump, and from time to time and electric guitar+amp and power tools if needed.

Now, I have no idea what's good or bad when it comes to the system's devices, I'll tell you this tho, I'd like to keep my budget somewhere along $3000, I've mainly checked Amazon and I see it's possible but don't know if what I've layed my eyes on is any good, I might be able to send a few link sometime soon to show you guys!

Also I have no intention to hook onto the grid, this is totally off-grid!

First of all, if you are mobile and are not on a sailboat, forget wind generation. You cannot count on wind being at all good and you cannot afford to drag around a tall enough tower to get out of the ground level turbulence.

Second, search the forum for old threads on Generator Support, with the best information coming from Chris Olsen. But be aware that the smallest hybrid system (in the sense we use that word) may be too big and too expensive for you.

A system which has enough battery capacity to allow you to reduce your generator run time and avoid running it lightly loaded will be a good start and from there you can see whether or not it makes sense to add solar PV input.
