The more you know about your solar product, the better you can advise your clients. You do not want angry customers coming at you because the expensive system you sold them failed in 5 months because you sold them too small/large of a battery bank.
What you HAVE to know:
Each installation's power requirements (daily KWh)
Each installation's peak power requirement
Summer/Winter insolation
Batteries to store the power
Battery boxes/container/shed
Battery cables
PV panels
PV mounting gear
Solar Charge controllers
DC rated breakers, combiners, power switches
DC wiring requirements and hydraulic cable crimping tool
Inverters and power distribution
Local electrical code so you don't burn the house down
Permits if you connect to the gridPowerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
