Hi guys.
I recently bought a van and it's come with some serious kit!
I was really chuffed when I went to look at it. The seller didn't really know how good it wall was I think.
It came with
4 x Yuasa 160ah-6v deep cycle batteries that are 5 years old. (£800 new?)
1 x Sterling Pro Combi S 12v 3000 Watt Inverter & Charger - Pure Sine Wave UPS (£1500 new?)
1 x 1200w Trace Engineering invert (£150 new? Unknown value, do you know?)
1 x Amperor 18amp 3 stage charger (£70 new?)
Plus loads of heavy duty cable, fuses, RCD panels etc. etc.
If I were to buy all this new I'd be talking £2,500?
The van was only a few grand so all this was a real bonus!
My question is about the Trace Engineering Inverter. It has a socket for a remote switch (RC8) which I can't find online. You can see this in the photo. Could I make one? Any other options do you think?
