Off-grid LED Lighting from battery bank

Forgive me if this question has been asked elsewhere, but I've been unable to find an answer. It seems like a straightforward and common answer.

Is it possible to run LED lights from a 12v (nominal) battery bank? I'm trying to set up general-purpose off-grid lighting.
I was thinking either something like a MR-16 LED bulbs which runs at 12v (normally with an AC transformer), or 12v LED strips (also usually installed with a transformer).

Will those kinds of lights tolerate the 11v-15v fluctuations that would be expected with a battery bank?
Or is there some sort of 12V DC voltage stabilizer I can get to use with appliances that are expecting a more constant load?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

Welcome to Solar Panel Talk hvjackson!

In my experience using 12V LED lighting, I have found that you can use nominal rated 12V LED lights on a 12V battery. At the same time though, I have different results depending on the quality of the LED light. As a general rule though, I have not had a problem (except for the odd cheap chinese LED that I have tried here and there).

I have used 12V LED strip lights, LED modules, LED floodlights, and LED downlights on 12V batteries without any problems. Some 12V LED lighting is actually marked as 8-16V, and with those specific lights, I have not had a problem at all.
    Hope that helps at all?!
    All the best!
