Does the Converter/Charger or Solar Controller do the charging?

I have an Elixir Industries ELX45 45 Amp Solid State Converter/Charger in my travel trailer that I occasionally hook up to a generator to run 120v devices. The trailer's electricity is supplied 95 percent of the time with a 125 watt solar system charging a 12 volt 220 Ah battery. I use the trailer just on weekends, so the batteries charge up during the week and I have plenty of energy for when I am there (I use less than 100 Ah).

Is there any danger to the battery having both the converter/charger and the solar controller sending current to the battery at the same time? Can either device become damaged when used at the same time?

I am new to SolarPanelTalk and have learned much, reading through the topics, the last couple of days. Any insights would be welcomed. Thanks.

Should be no problem to either.
