If there is a Solar Panel as a power generator which recharge a battery, and the consumer is a flashlight (led or wolfram bulb), and size, weight, charger controller dose not matter,

*1) What are the advantages of using NiMh over Gell/plumb/ups/deep cycle/ rechargeable battery?
*2) As a reference, a Gell battery with 6 Volt with 3 Ah is the equivalent of 5 Batteries connected in seriesof 1.2V with 3000mAh NiMh C size? (3Ah=3000mAh?)
