My apologies, I forgot that this was an off grid setup. When you always have some load on it therefore not the same as trickle charging.
9 kW solar, 42kWh LFP storage. EV owner since 2012

You are correct in saying it is a bad idea to leave a constant trickle charge on an unloaded LiFePO4 cell though. Some smaller RV systems where there is only a tiny parsitic load may be an issue.
