I have read how some use voltage regulators so you can charge off higher voltage chargers. More appealing for dropin I guess.
That has me wondering can they use step up voltage devices? If so how likely in such small confined space? I ask as if they start doing this kind of thing it would mean we think we are charging at a safe low 13.8V & are not. What is to stop them setting it higher for shorter life? Taking away our rights.
