Hello,
I am planning to setup a battery pack to be charged by a 100W solar panel that is made up of three sets of 4s 18650 cells in parallel(these to be specific: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Panasoni...53.m2749.l2649)
Based on the battery specification and from what ever i understood and series and parallel connections, the above setup should give me a base voltage of 14.8V with peak at 16.8V and 10.2 mA current.
My charge controller has the below ratings:
Nominal Voltage: 12V / 2V Auto Recognigition
Rated Charge Current: 30A
Max PV Input Voltage: 50 VDC
Equalization Voltage: Sealed: 14.6V; Gel-None; Flooded: 14.8V
Boost Voltage: Sealed: 14.4V; Gel 14.2V; Flooded: 14.6V
Float Voltage: 13.8V
Under Voltage: 12V
Self consumption: <13mA
I am also planning to use 4s bms boards with each set of 4s cells.
Could you please advice if i am on the right track or if i am going wrong in trying to set up a 12V battery back that i plan to run couple of water pumps on rated at 50W in total. Any suggestions would be useful. Thanks.
PS: The place i am setting this up gets on average 8-9 hours on sunlight.
Regards,
Nithin.
