What is this white stuff on battery plate? (With picture)

It's on at least 4 of the 6 cells but doesn't seem like it's on all plates in each cell maybe only one or two?

Is it sulfation? Active material? Impurities?

Long story short I brought a cheap locally made "low maintenance" battery from a local factory near me. Guy claimed it was only made 10 days ago but it was 12.13 volts when measured but I bought it anyway. After fully charging it was 12.5 volts after resting (no load) but it's already 12.3 after only using a couple of led lights for an hour.

    Is this a problem?

All postings by Yeti are suspect as to safety and accuracy.

It appears to be some kind of mat at the bottom ?

12,5 V after fully charging ? What told you , that the battery would be fully charged -- the clock , like after 13 hours
the accumulating battery should be fully charged ?

How did you charge that battery ? Solar-Power-Inverter ?

I realize that English may not be your first language but you really need to get your terms correct in your responses. You have been using the term Solar Power Inverter where it appears you are talking about a charge controller. The closest thing to a solar power inverter would be a micro inverter, which doesn't charge batteries. An inverter charger is basically an inverter that has battery charging capability but would not necessarily be using solar power for charging. More likely it would be using ac mains power or a generator for battery charging. There are a few overseas mfg. that market inverters that have MPPT charge controllers integrated into them but I don't think this is what you are referring to.
