Hey guy's,
So i'm planning a project on my shed this Spring to allow me to use it as a small shop. I plan to use some small power tools/chargers and maybe a 12A saw at some point, which is why i'd like to use a 24V bank rather than 12V. Planning on a 1500w/3000w peak Pure Sine inverter as well as a 40A MPPT controller.
I have 2x365w LG panels coming to me shortly, which are almost brand new. I plan to wire them in series for ~70V. So that's roughly 700W of solar and 25+ amps. It's more than I originally planned, but I'd rather have more than not enough.
Originally I was thinking use using 2 Trojan SCS225 in series (24v 130Ah)- http://www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/dat...ata_Sheets.pdf
I think I would be fine if I was using just 1 panel, but using both will be pumping 25-28 amps into the bank which I fear might be too much. Should I be looking more into the 200Ah range now with the extra solar input?
