Stocks of vrla in shops
03-12-2018, 11:01 PM
Suppose i know that a 200MF vrla has not been sold for more than 4 years but the shop charge their stock each 3 months till 12.3+
Any risk of buying such a battery?

Batteries have 2 life cycles.
1. Charge Discharge cycles
2. Calendar life
Whichever comes first. Unless the batteries are free, I would not touch them unless I could capacity test them and measure internal resistance.
