ICFs also have a problem in areas with carpenter ants. They do like to tunnel and nest in the foam. With a proper waterproofing system in place and above ground flashing they may be an option but I think the common after the fact approach is create a toxic wasteland around the house by repeated applications of the most effective pesticide that hasnt been banned yet. .
