Hi There,

How do I convert battery Amp Hours into a measureable usage like KWh,

This question has got me stumped so I was hoping there

Voltage of the battery x Ah.@20 hr. rating = watt hours One golf cart battery 6 volt @ 210 ah = 1260 watt hours, or 1.26 kwh.4 of these in series @ 24 volt = 5,400 wh. et. etc.
Only half of these watt hours should be considered usable, And 20% should be your daily target in a full time off grid set up.

On paper Battery Voltage x Amp Hour = Watt Hours

However there is a catch called Peukert Law which states the faster the discharge rate, the less capacity a battery has. Most batteries from consumers are rated at C/20 discharge rate. Example C/20 on a 100 AH battery is 5 amps. If you were to discharge at a higher rate like say C/5 or 20 amps that 100 AH battery is now a 70 AH battery
