LG chem primary vs secondary?

Does anyone know the real difference between the two units? The only thing that I can see is the model number is slightly different. Wondering if a secondary unit could act as a primary and vice versa?

I presume you are talking about the LG Chem battery. Which voltage and model number are you referring to.
