    wire crimper HELP

    hello, im trying to find a good wire crimper for sizes from 12-0/3 AWG can anybody help?

    If just doing a couple - harbor freight has some, Amazon has quick delivery. These will have to be pneumatic or hydraulic, no squeeze grip on those large sizes.

      Well I can answer, but there is not just a single tool to be bought for the range you listed, not do I think you could afford them.

      For #6 AWG up to 500MCM a TBM6 is one of the least expensive starting used at $500.

      For the smaller gauges like 12 AWG a TBM45S

      Your best bet is to have professional cables made up and terminated. Poor crimp connections is the #1 cause of system failures and FIRE

          If you use hammer type. buy 3x as many lugs as planned, and practice crimps, they are not easy to master, and failures are, well. nasty
