Another reason power4home works . you can use a "unique" DC motor like they show in the advert to turn an alternator and rectify that AC to DC to charge the battery to power the DC motor.
I was looking into the possibility of building solar panels. There is this product that claims to guide you through the whole process with materials that cost less than $200. Its called Power4Home but there are others with similar names.
Has anyone tried this or know if its for real?
I will say try it because this is clickbank product and if you will not satisfy for any reason, you can get refund of your money with in 60 days. So better to try it out yourself as every person have his own thought.

Your first post and you are supporting a scam? Refund? Most of the time not possible.

There is a fine (or maybe not so fine, on second thought) line between making people aware of scams and misrepresentations and inadvertently supporting those same scams.
Right now this and similar forums are very credible and are frequently crawled by search engines. (In particular, every time I go to do a Google search to research something which has been mentioned here, I find the post that got my attention indexed somewhere in the first page of results. Within hours of the post!)
But AFAIK the search engines do not look at the context of a link they find at a site to see whether it is mentioned glowingly or disparagingly. So when a link to a site appears here, it adds to the page rank of that site. And in many cases every click to that site by anyone, either looking for something good or looking at something bad, is money for that site operator.
So, tempting as it may be to point to a site and say "Shame on them!", posting an actual link for that purpose is a bad idea. Needless to say the moderators are very firm about this. Accept it!
Inetdog your view of it may be the same as everyone else's in the known universe, but its not my view of it. OK? You and everyone can give me a trillion good reasons why you are right and I am wrong, but that doesn't mean I am going to change my mind.
Sure I have to accept it as no choice .No one is going to change the rules for me.I am not in charge of anything. And I am only a sometimes hopefully a useful contributor.

It is because I respect you (at least some of the time ) that I go to the trouble to explain some of the reasons behind the forum policy. I recognize that you may have a different opinion, and as you say, as long as you follow the forum rules, you are free to have that opinion.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a moderator here and so my comments have no official standing.
Sunking my not thinking the moderators view on what is right or wrong to put on here does not make me wise or foolish Its the way they run this forum. Now if they all quit and another set of moderators ran this forum they may have a totally different view on what is right and wrong to put on her.. So does that make them foolish because they run it different to the previous moderators ??
I said I accepted the moderators wont let me put certain things on here like they wont let you always put on here what you want to. So does that make them foolish they dont accept what you have put on her? Or does that make it foolish what you put on here and they deleted ?
Moderators like Police do not make the rules John P. They only enforce the rules made by the owner/admin. That is why you were allowed to change your user name to hide. Jason approved it.
