How about you need to learn how to be more civil and not put others down with your talk and nonsense. please How about you go learn more electricity. Cus What ive read is both volts and amps are IMPORTANT. AND WAY I SEE IT THESE CELLS PRODUCE FACK* ALL FOR VOLTS>
Go ahead and Bann me its you who caused me to react like this with your premature statement.
Anyone else want to try answering Cobra ? Bueller? Bueller?Leave a comment:

Is that 2.6 volts "open voltage" or under load? Open voltage can be much higher then what a solar cell can truly generate and is really not a true voltage reading.Leave a comment:

Guest repliedThere crap becuase they dont produce much amps. it will produce high voltage but no amps.Leave a comment:

this solar cell. Just one cells maxes at 2.60 volts. Some actually go 3volts.
I connected on to my monocell that only produces .60 volts max.
And so my volts wolts went to 0.50volts max but it went 6.40amps instead of 5.80amps.
this video shows u the solar cell im using for mono. I havnt recorded my findings on my combining technique yet.
These cells max out at 2.60volts. I take picture one sec.

If you look at a yard light you'll see the 'cell' is divided into 4 sections.....at least mine are....each section is actually a true solar 'cell' and .6 x 4 = 2.4v or thereabouts ...........zLast edited by Zardiw; 02-04-2016, 09:15 PM.Leave a comment:

Just remember that Solar Cells can be thought of as batteries.......Each one when hooked in series will add it's voltage to the total......However your weakest battery will drag the entire string down to it's level....amperage/current wise anyway. And in my experimentation it's the weakest cell in the string that will get hot.....cause all the other cells are pushing more juice through it than it can pass.......sort of like a thin section of pipe amongst some thick pipe buddies.........zLeave a comment:
