Tabbing wire and busbar wire are both actually thin foil.
Tabbing wire has to be more flexible (thinner) to bend from the bottom of one cell to the top of the next and it goes a relatively short distance.
Bus wire goes next to the cells and lies flat so it can be thicker for lower resistance, for longer runs and connecting to terminals.

Does a graph exist as to the thickness and material bus and tabbing the max it can have electricity flowing through it to be concidered safe.
