Hello I have a beautiful flat roof with no shade from trees or buildings. Sun is always shining, constant breeze would keep the CT low....but there are 6 4feet tall, fat chimneys...equally scattered around the roof...their shadows are huge. Mounting the panels on a high rack would cause problems with the gusty winds.
I guess the reason the chimneys are so tall is precisely because of the wind (we live on top of a San Francisco hill).
Would anyone recommend a solution? I'm really tempted to cut those chimneys and replace them with flexible ones, but I'm not sure it will work (and how much it will cost). I want my solar!
Thanks!
