Backing And Fronting?

Hello All, I am new to the world of solar and i am planing to build my own panel soon, i have every thing i need except for backing and fronting. I am just wondering if i should use acrylic or some other material, if you have used acrylic please let me know how thick it should be?

You, should use glass for the frount and lexin for the . If you do use a type of plastic you should use UV plexsiglass for the frount and can be used for the back . You need an something to seal the cell's from air.
