It is ok to do this with Solar cells

Hello guys,

I almost finish my DIY solar panels (later will make a post), but I got a very good deal purchasing 3x6 solar cells, but now that I finished my panels, coincidence is incredible, I have 1.3W and 1.45w solar cells, and in total is 36 cells!

So I can make a another solar panel with this, but its ok that I can mix 1.3w and 1.45 watts panels to make another solar panel? They out .550 volts, but with difference of amps (2.9 and 2.6 amps).

So there is no issue if I mix then and make another solar panel?

As you mix and match, try to keep each string the same style, if a 2.6A cell is placed in a 2.9A string, it will limit the entire string to 2.6A, and you would loose .3@ 18V = 5.4w in that string

I had some 4x4 cell and putm them with some 3x6's and the 4x4 got electricaly burnt up.

Delta, that was not smart..... You case is different, you are mixing chikens and hens, different size of solar panel. I have same size but a little difference of amps
