Backed up loads sub panel size

I'm installing a Solaredge storedge system with a back-up battery. The line drawing included with my permit package specifies a 125A subpanel with 25A main breaker for the backed up loads. I'm having trouble finding a 125A panel that doesn't have a lot more spaces than I require. Since it only gets a 25A main breaker and only needs to support 6 circuits is there any reason I couldn't use a 100A panel?

I see no reason you can't just use a 100a panel. Even a 50 amp panel would work, it would just limit you on spaces.

Thanks, That what I was thinking too. I don't know how rigid the inspector will hold me to plans but couldn't come up with a reason not to downsize.
