Is the breaker for the DC input (what DC voltage?)
or for the AC output (What AC voltage, 120V or 240V)
Whatever size breaker you use anywhere, the wire HAS to be rated at a higher amp value than the breaker:
30A breaker needs 10 ga wire (or even larger)
You want the breaker to pop open before the wire heats up and starts a fire.
