Solar panels on dual battery system

I want to know if i can connect the solar panel to the same battery as the alternator? So that can charge when the vehicle is not running.

The CTEK D250S DUAL charger is something to consider.

Accepts alternator and solar panel inputs simultaneously (with mppt internally for solar apparently), and does some interesting automatic switching.

I don't have one so I can't provide any real world feedback, but looks interesting.
