Typical - I face this daily. No parameter is ever set until a project is complete.

Isn't that why the only drawings worth having are the as-builts?
Now if only you could get those up front. (In another forum there is discussion of inspectors who want to see the field tests of efficient lighting systems signed off before they approve the permit to start installing.)
