I have an old SES solar controller/monitor on my 2000 Chinook RV. Yesterday I had the genset running to charge the house batteries. This panel has a vertical row of colored lights to show battery charge (green lights, followed by yellow, followed by red) The top two green lights did not come on after running the genset for quite a while.
For some reason, I removed the battery circuit breaker from the controller/monitor panel. When I removed the fuse all of the green lights illuminated. Is this normal? Does this indicate that I have a bad battery? Any help understanding this would be appreciated.
