    Replacing solar hot water tank

I have a older solar hot water system made by Grumman and it has been working quite well but the 120 gal. tank has started to leak. I have been trying to find a replacement tank how ever the ones made here in the states are over $2000 any one know of a more reasonable replacement.
The tank dose not have a heat exchanger in it.

Is this a one tank system? Meaning there is not another water heater for back up.

      2 tank system

The solar tank is a pre warmer for the regular hot water system it all so has a pump to feed a chill chaser in the living room. there is a gauge on the solar tank and it runs 120 to 130 when the sun is out and that is about 90% of the time.

In that case you can modify a standard electric hot water tank to serve as a solar storage tank.
Remove the drain valve at the bottom of the tank.
Install a nipple and a Cross tee with a valve in this position.
Feed the cold water in and the suction on the heat exchanger loop to the other sides of the cross.
Remove the cold water inlet at the top of the tank with the dip tube.
Cut the dip tube down so it goes about a little over 1/2 way down the tank. This will become the return from the heat exchanger and the chill chaser.
The hot water out is plumbed to feed the chill chaser and the other tank.
