haven't used them yet but probably will for my next install.
the price on their two panel micro inverters is a lot better than enphase and I like their wiring connection system better.

PS thank you big brother for deleting yet another harmless link.

This battle of Enecsys vs Enphase will be fun to watch. Enphase owns the market currently, Enecsys claims certain improvements on the concept but if almost nobody is distributing the product the alleged advantages may not matter. Perhaps it will become a battle like PC vs Mac, or like Sony Beta vs VHS, etc.

Why wait? You get all that same shade function with the Enphase system which is already fully market tested and established with many thousands of installs.....and a big user base here.

Enecsys is going to need to explain what it really brings to the game that is "NEW". Right now it just seems to be a warmed over version of what we get with the Enphase setups. I watched their video and their Wifi setup is a little different, their cable structure is a little different, but it is far from clear that you end up with any real advantage over the Enphase. And if they can't show any real advantage then it seems they lose by default, because Enphase already has the market penetration and dealer and user support. I can literally walk into several stores in my area and buy an Enphase 190, 210, 215, D380 off-the-shelf....but those same stores have no idea what an "Enecsys" system is.

Always good to have competition imo.... Well if the wiring component easier for Enecsys that should provide value to installers and make for a faster install. No idea whats taking so long for Enecsys but I always welcome competition

No competition = you get comps like kodak with the inability to innovate... pooor kodak

              Enecsys

We have 20 Enecsys unit installed as of March 2012. The systems works fine only problem we have is that the units are 230V and our utility company delivers 220V. When there is a heavy load on the net peak hours we see quite some system outages.
The Enecsys units can not be used were the utility company delivers 220V.

Regulatory approvals aside for the moment, is there any technical reason not to use a nice oversized buck transformer winding between the MicroInverter combiner bus and the utility connection point? If the inverters still saw a low enough impedance, they should not know the grid is actually at a lower voltage. Or would the transformer not deliver the low impedance to short pulses that the g-t inverter needs to see?
