Hi all,

I am an Electromechanical Engineer (PE) with a little experience in communication satellite solar power. I'm considering a career change, so it's time to bring my knowledge base "back to earth"

The best way to learn is through doing, so I plan to optimise my new garage roof for solar and put panels on the 11'x24' south facing side of the roof. I have a ton of questions ranging from technical to economics (like how long until the NJ SREC becomes nearly worthless?)

Hope I don't overwhelm you all with dumb questions

Cannot answer your question accurately but the Union is going to burn through a lot of your credits installing your system.
